Our Review
Golden Star is a Dama N.V. brand that accepts Canadian players, and it is one of the few Curacao-registered casinos that also holds a licence from an EEA regulator — Estonia, through KingsWin Online OU. That second licence matters more than it might look. Curacao licensing gives a player very little practical recourse in a dispute; an Estonian regulator is a real supervisory body with a complaints process behind it.
For a Canadian account the basics are in place rather than retrofitted. The casino holds balances in Canadian dollars, so there is no conversion spread on every deposit and withdrawal. Interac leads the Canadian payment list, which is the method most Canadian players actually want, and the interface is available in both English and French for Canada. Withdrawal limits are published in Canadian dollars: C$15,000 a day, C$30,000 a week and C$90,000 a month.
The library is the largest on this site by a wide margin — more than 12,000 titles from over 100 studios, spanning slots, live dealer tables, crash games and jackpots, with a sportsbook on the same account. If breadth of choice is what you are after, nothing else we list is close.
Where it is weaker is support and withdrawal speed. The operator documents a single support channel, an email address, and no live chat. For most questions that is merely slower; when a withdrawal is stuck it is the difference between a five-minute conversation and a two-day thread. Withdrawals themselves can sit pending for up to 48 hours before processing even begins, and card and bank payouts then take a further one to three banking days. E-wallet and crypto payouts are quick once approved, so the pending window is the real bottleneck.
The welcome package is 100% up to C$1,500 with 300 free spins on the first deposit, continuing at 75% up to C$750 with 50 spins on the second and 50% up to C$750 on the third. The operator publishes these tiers in euros and supplied the Canadian first-deposit figure directly; the later Canadian amounts follow the operator's own euro-to-dollar tier mapping and are not yet separately confirmed. Check the cashier before depositing on the second and third.
One caveat on promotions generally. The daily cashback the brand advertises is automatic only in Germany. Elsewhere, Canada included, it is described as discretionary and variable, so treat it as a possibility rather than a benefit you are entitled to.
This assessment is based on the operator's own documentation — licensing, payment coverage, published limits and locale support — rather than on depositing, playing and withdrawing ourselves. Where a figure could not be confirmed we have said so instead of filling the gap.

Our Verdict
Recommended
Golden Star accepts Canadian dollars, leads with Interac and holds an Estonian licence as well as a Curacao one. Over 12,000 games, but email-only support and a 48-hour pending window on withdrawals.
